The Lost Motivator is supposed to be the board to get you out on those 2 foot and mushy days, and it does its job perfectly. Just recently we were out and it was about 3 foot and though i had friends riding other lost boards meant for small waves I was the only one who could get a decent wave. As for the bigger days it's not meant for them but being able to paddle into a big wave on the outside is extremely convenient plus you can beat out the pesky long boarders on the outside. The last thing that really makes this board shine all year round and no matter hat the wave is the five fin setup. It's great on those sloppy waves to be able to pull out a quad and go faster than you would ever believe on a board like this, plus on those big days you put on a thruster set-up and you can lay down some huge hits.
Pros:
five-fin set-up is versatile
extra foam in nose means you won't nose dive
very fast when quad
will catch anything
Cons:
big/bulky
if to big it can get hard to turn
can be to big for large days
Summary:
Great board for those small Florida waves, good to learn on, but it's little tight but with speed it really loosens up, and it's a little hard to ride on big waves.
Overall 4 1/2 Gnarly Groms out of 5
